A brief history of how we got started.
1977
Soft Sculpture Exhibition at Lansdowne Row, Berkeley Square, London.
Also selling these sculptures at Christopher Strangeways, Kensington Church Walk, Kensington, London.
1972-76
Studied illustration Medway College of Design, Rochester, Kent.
Moved to the Isles of Scilly, painting landscapes.
1980
Exhibition of landscapes in ST MARY’S MUSEUM. Patsy worked part time as Glassblower’s Servitor, making & designing glass, 1980-1987.
1984
1981-1983
Two years work painting large mural in Porthcressa Restaurant, St Mary’s, commissioned by Mr Roy Mitchell. 1st wall 15ft x lOft, 2nd wall 15ft x 6ft. Mural of jungle scene with animals, birds, plants etc. called Fantasy Jungle.

Commissioned by Robert Dorrien-Smith to paint TRESCO ABBEY GARDENS, 8ft x 4ft, acrylic on wood, showing gardens from an imaginary birds eye view. (Now hanging in entrance of Island Hotel, Tresco).
1985
Commissioned by The Isles of Scilly Tourism Association to paint large panel depicting everything a tourist could do in a day. Now on display on SCILLONIAN III
1985-1987
Commissioned by Jeremy Mills of BBC2 to paint a section of HUGH TOWN, ST MARY’S, for a TV programme “Our Street”. This is an imaginary birds, eye view showing houses and people, and was shown on BBC South West in April 1987, BBC National July 1987. Now on display in ROSEHILL STUDIO, ST MARY’S.

1989
Commissioned to paint an imaginary birds eye view of “Trewithen” by Michael Galsworthy to show 38 acres of his house & gardens. Completed December 24 1991, includes all of his family, staff, and animals. Acrylic on canvas 8ft x 6ft, now hanging in “Trewithen”, near Truro, Cornwall.
